Story Transcript:
Cy: Ar ben y clogwyni uwchben y Môr Aegea, yn y dafarn fach hardd yn Santorini, roedd Dafydd yn sefyll yn ddryslyd.
En: On top of the cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea, in the beautiful little tavern in Santorini, Dafydd stood perplexed.
Cy: Nid oedd wedi teithio ar ben ei hun erioed o'r blaen.
En: He had never traveled alone before.
Cy: Roedd y lle yn llawn arogleuon hyfryd o fwyd môr wedi'i grilio, a'r dodrefn glas a gwyn yn ychwanegu at yr awyrgylch twymgalon.
En: The place was filled with delightful aromas of grilled seafood, and the blue and white furniture added to the warm atmosphere.
Cy: "Dw i angen cyfarwyddiadau," meddai Dafydd yn Gymraeg, gan obeithio y byddai rhywun yn ei ddeall.
En: "I need directions," said Dafydd in Welsh, hoping someone would understand him.
Cy: Roedd Sofia, gweinyddes leol yn y dafarn, yn mynd heibio gyda hambwrdd.
En: Sofia, a local waitress at the tavern, passed by with a tray.
Cy: “Ydych chi angen help?” gofynnodd, ei llais yn dyner ond yn gadarnhaol.
En: "Do you need help?" she asked, her voice gentle yet affirming.
Cy: “Oes, os gwelwch yn dda,” atebodd Dafydd gydag anadl o ryddhad.
En: "Yes, please," Dafydd responded with a sigh of relief.
Cy: “Dw i'n chwilfrydig am y lle yma, ond dw i wedi colli fy ffordd.”
En: "I am curious about this place, but I have lost my way."
Cy: Yn synnu gan ei geiriau agored a diffuant, penderfynodd Sofia helpu Dafydd.
En: Surprised by his open and sincere words, Sofia decided to help Dafydd.
Cy: “Dewch gyda fi. Dwi'n nabod pob cornel o’r lle yma.”
En: "Come with me. I know every corner of this place."
Cy: Gwên gynnes ar ei hwyneb, dywedodd, "Beth ydych chi eisiau gweld?"
En: With a warm smile on her face, she asked, "What do you want to see?"
Cy: “Dw i eisiau profiad glân a helydd, ffordd leol," atebodd Dafydd.
En: "I want an authentic and local experience," Dafydd replied.
Cy: Wrth iddynt gerdded drwy’r strydoedd cul o fewn y tref, dechreuodd Sofia ddisgrifio ei breuddwydion o deithio, er bod ei theulu yn dynodio iddi gadw i weithio’n lleol.
En: As they walked through the narrow streets of the town, Sofia began to describe her dreams of traveling, though her family insisted she stay and work locally.
Cy: “Mae rhaid i mi edrych ar ôl fy nheulu,” esboniodd hi, gwynt yn llanw’r lle.
En: “I have to look after my family,” she explained, her voice filled with the wind of the place.
Cy: Cwrwodd Dafydd wrth glywed hyn.
En: Dafydd nodded sympathetically upon hearing this.
Cy: "Dw i'n deall," meddai.
En: "I understand," he said.
Cy: "Mae gennych chi gyfrifoldebau. Ond mae gen i ddiddordeb gweld y byd, ac efallai gallwn ni helpu ein gilydd."
En: "You have responsibilities. But I have an interest in seeing the world, and maybe we can help each other."
Cy: Ar ôl rhai diwrnodau o gerdded gyda'i gilydd a darganfod ardaloedd cudd Santorini, teimlodd Dafydd a Sofia rhywbeth unigryw yn cychwyn ymhlith ei gilydd.
En: After several days of walking together and discovering hidden areas of Santorini, Dafydd and Sofia began to feel something unique blossoming between them.
Cy: Roedd Dafydd yn dod yn fwy hyderus ac yna aeth ef yn y deilsen i aros yn Santorini ychydig yn hirach.
En: Dafydd grew more confident and decided to extend his stay in Santorini for a bit longer.
Cy: Gyda'r nos, ar glogwyn traeth llawn sêr, rhannodd y dau eu hofnau a’u breuddwydion.
En: At night, on a star-filled cliff beach, they shared their fears and dreams.
Cy: “Dw i eisiau teithio, ond dw i'n ofni gadael fy nheulu," meddai Sofia.
En: “I want to travel, but I am afraid of leaving my family,” said Sofia.
Cy: “Gallwch chi wneud y ddau,” cynigiodd Dafydd.
En: "You can do both," Dafydd suggested.
Cy: “Gweithio ar yr hyn sy'n bwysig i chi, tra hefyd yn adeiladu eich breuddwydion.”
En: "Work on what is important to you, while also building your dreams."
Cy: Wrth iddynt wylio'r tonnau'n torri, deallodd Sofia y gallai ddilyn ei breuddwydion heb orfod gadael y cyfan o’i chymuned.
En: As they watched the waves break, Sofia realized she could follow her dreams without having to leave her entire community behind.
Cy: A teimlai Dafydd yn gryfach am ei benderfyniad i archwilio’r byd.
En: Dafydd felt more assured in his decision to explore the world.
Cy: Ar eu taith yn ôl i’r dafarn fach, gwnaethent benderfyniad.
En: On their walk back to the small tavern, they made a decision.
Cy: Byddent yn cynllunio eu dyfodol gyda’i gilydd, gan gydbwyso eu cyfrifoldebau a’u dyheadau.
En: They would plan their future together, balancing their responsibilities and aspirations.
Cy: Roeddent yn barod i ddechrau’r bennod nesaf yn eu bywydau, yn llawn cyffro ac arhosiad.
En: They were ready to start the next chapter of their lives, filled with excitement and anticipation.
