Zh: 在杭州西湖的一个夏日午后，阳光洒在波光粼粼的湖面上，仿佛给湖水镀上了一层金色的薄纱。
En: On a summer afternoon by West Lake in Hangzhou, sunlight shimmered on the surface of the water, as if draping the lake with a golden veil.

En: Lian, Mei, and Cheng were spreading out a large floral cloth by the lakeside, preparing to enjoy their annual family reunion picnic.

Zh: "我想……我想成为一名作家。"莲捏紧了手中的面包，不敢直视梅的眼睛。
En: "I want... I want to become a writer," Lian said, clutching the bread in her hand, not daring to meet Mei's eyes.

Zh: "但我不知道怎么跟家人说，他们会同意吗？"
