Story Transcript:

Cy: Em mewn gafael dyn o oedd haelionaws Emrys, Carys a Gwyn wedi dod ynghyd yn yr ysgol i drafod eu prosiect arbennig ar oroesi yn ystod adeg rhyfel.
En: Em in the firm grip of a generous man, Emrys, Carys, and Gwyn had come together at the school to discuss their special project on survival during wartime.

Cy: Roedd yr hydref yn drist gyda’i liwiau aur a coch, ac roedd Dydd y Cofio yn nesáu.
En: Autumn was somber with its golden and red hues, and Remembrance Day was approaching.

Cy: Roedd Emrys yn benderfynol o greu project gwir barchus er cof am y rhai a fu'n dioddef yn yr amseroedd anodd hynny.
En: Emrys was determined to create a truly respectful project in memory of those who suffered during those difficult times.

Cy: Roedd y prosiect yn sialens.
En: The project was a challenge.

Cy: Roedd adnoddau yn brin, ac roedd cael atgellyddion cyntaf yn bron yn amhosibl.
En: Resources were scarce, and accessing primary sources was almost impossible.

Cy: Roedd Carys a Gwyn ddim mor frwd â Emrys; roedd ganddynt eu pynciau eu hunain i drafod, ond roedd Emrys yn neilltuol o benderfynol.
En: Carys and Gwyn were not as enthusiastic as Emrys; they had their own subjects to discuss, but Emrys was particularly determined.

Cy: Felly, penderfynodd Emrys eu perswadio i ymweld â hen fwngrel danddaearol lleol, unwaith yn gartref diogel yn ystod y rhyfel.
En: Therefore, Emrys decided to persuade them to visit a local underground bunker, once a safe haven during the war.

Cy: "Bydd yn brofiad ymarferol," dywedodd ef gyda'i wyneb llawn brwdfrydedd.
En: "It will be a practical experience," he said with his face full of enthusiasm.

Cy: Cerddodd y tri ffrind yn araf i’r mynediad tywyll i’r lefel is o’r fwngrel.
En: The three friends walked slowly to the dark entrance of the bunker’s lower level.

Cy: Mae’r dŵr yn gweithian i lawr wrth ochrau’r wal rwystro â sŵn tawel.
En: Water trickled down the sides of the wall with a soft sound.

Cy: Roedd y gorchuddion concrit yn oer ac yn dywyll, a dim ond marciwrion oedd yn dangos sut roedd pobl yn byw yma unwaith.
En: The concrete coverings were cold and dark, with only markers showing how people once lived there.

Cy: Wrth iddynt gamu ymlaen, goleuwyd y ffordd gyda pelydrau bach o'r fflachlampau yn agor byd o hanes cil.
En: As they stepped forward, the way was illuminated by small beams from their flashlights, opening a world of hidden history.

Cy: Ar un wal welodd Gwyn bosteri diflas gyda'r geiriau "Cadwch yr Ysbryd!" ac, oddi tanaf, offer rhydlyd nad oedd wedi symud ers blynyddoedd.
En: On one wall, Gwyn saw faded posters with the words "Keep the Spirit!" and beneath them, rusty equipment that hadn't moved in years.

Cy: Roedd Emrys yn merl union i bocs pren.
En: Emrys pointed directly to a wooden box.

Cy: "Ffryndiau, edrychwch yma," meddai'n dawel.
En: "Friends, look here," he said quietly.

Cy: Ynddo, llythyrau wedi'u camu gyda hen ysgrifen.
En: Inside, letters piled with old handwriting.

Cy: Carys gofleidiodd un llythyr ag awydd, yn darllen yn uchel.
En: Carys embraced one letter with eagerness, reading aloud.

Cy: “Annwyl Mam,” hanodd rhai â’i llais yn ing, “Rwy’n gobeithio dychwelyd cyn hir.
En: “Dear Mam,” some read with a poignant voice, “I hope to return soon.

Cy: Mae’r hynny yma’n anodd, ond rhaid i ni beidio â cholli gobaith.”
En: Things are difficult here, but we must not lose hope.”

Cy: Roedd y darllen wedi dod â deigryn i lygaid, yn agor ffenestr newydd i’r gorffennol i bob un ohonynt.
En: The reading brought tears to their eyes, opening a new window to the past for each of them.

Cy: Carys a Gwyn, o’r diwedd, roeddent yn canfod wrth ei ochr Emrys.
En: Carys and Gwyn, at last, found themselves by Emrys's side.

Cy: Roedd y profiad hwn wedi tanio eu dychymyg.
En: This experience sparked their imagination.

Cy: Gyda'u dychwelyd i'r ysgol, cerddon nhw unrhyw rannu eu dysgu a'u hadnoddau i greu prosiect oedd yn llawn o barch ac o addasiad i ddiwylliant y gorffennol.
En: Upon returning to the school, they went on to share their learning and resources to create a project full of respect and adaptation to past culture.

Cy: Cafodd eu cefnog, gan ysgogi edmygedd mawr am ei ddarlun cyfod o oroesi a choffa.
En: They were supported, inspiring great admiration for their portrayal of survival and remembrance.

Cy: Gyda llawenydd yn ei galon, derbyniodd Emrys diolchgarwch anfodlonol gan ei ffrindiau am ei arweinyddiaeth a’i angerdd.
En: With joy in his heart, Emrys received heartfelt thanks from his friends for his leadership and passion.

Cy: Roedd wedi newid, wedi tyfu yn fwy hyderus yn ei allu i arwain, i rannu’r hanes, a meithrin ysbryd cydweithredol yn ei dim.
En: He had changed, grown more confident in his ability to lead, to share history, and to foster a cooperative spirit in his team.

Cy: Roedd prosiect, o’r diwedd, yn llwyddiant calonogol ar gyfer Dydd y Cofio.
En: The project, ultimately, was a heartening success for Remembrance Day.
