The choice at times will be viewed as a temptation to hold on to the past or live a purpose that will be prophetic and bring not only deliverance for others, but for you as well.
Joseph was faced with such a decision.
He chose to walk in purpose and not the pain of his past.
As a reward he was promoted and was given a new name. The new name signifies his purpose and also his praise.
