El: Σοφία, εκείνο το καλοκαίρι, βρέθηκε στην Αθήνα.
En: Sophia, that summer, found herself in Athens.

El: Γυρόφερνε τα στενά δρομάκια της Πλάκας, γεμάτα από βυθισμένα στη σιωπή ακηδεμόνευτα σπίτια και σαν να είχε ξεχάσει το ταξίδι πίσω.
En: She wandered the narrow streets of Plaka, full of silently neglected houses as if she had forgotten the journey behind her.

El: Τις ξάφνιασε η νύχτα.
En: The night took her by surprise.

El: Η Σοφία, δίχως να ξέρει πού πηγαίνει, ακολούθησε το σιωπηλό βήμα μιας μαύρης γάτας.
En: Sophia, not knowing where she was going, followed the silent steps of a black cat.

El: Και τώρα η Σοφία μέσα στην Αθήνα, εκείνο το όνειρο, φαινόταν να το ακούει.

El: Συνειδητοποίησε τότε η Σοφία πως η γάτα δεν την έκανε να χαθεί.
En: It was then that Sophia realized the cat did not make her lost.

El: Απλά την οδηγούσε σε μια πιο άγνωστη, αλλά ουσιαστικής πλευράς της πόλης και του εαυτού της.
En: It simply guided her to a more unknown but essential aspect of the city and herself.

El: Η Σοφία, την τελευταία μέρα, κοίταζε τον κόσμο συνηθισμένη στα μίνι Ακροπολιτικά παράθυρα.
En: On the last day, Sophia looked at the world accustomed to the mini Acropolis windows.

El: Από εκείνη τη νύχτα, σε κάθε ξένη πόλη, κοιτάει τις γάτες να περνούν.
En: Since that night, in every foreign city, she watches the cats pass by.
