show moreSeverance wasn't yet AWOL, but after his leave time was up, the Air Force began an intensive search for him. Suspecting that Davidson's version of events wasn't true, a tracking device had been installed on her car that led investigators to a ranch. They would eventually find Michael Severance there, but Wendi Mae claimed she had only found him dead and disposed of his body in an absolutely gruesome manner. Toxicology reports would prove otherwise.
