Ko: 이 콸콸 빠져나온 땀은 뭐야? 이 얼굴이 빨개진 건 왜지? 그고, 나 물 좀!' 전교 1등인 지혜의 얼굴이 새빨갛게 달아오르며 매운 김치를 식당 테이블로 바짝 밀어뒀다. 잡담이 있는 식당은 순식간에 조용해졌다.
En: What's with all this sweat dripping down? Why is this face turning red? And, give me some water!' Jihye, the top student in the school, pushed the spicy kimchi tightly onto the restaurant table with her face turning bright red. The chatty restaurant quickly fell silent.

Ko: 지혜야, 넌 그게 김치라는 거 알고 먹었어? 민서가 안일하게 말했다. 그는 웃음이 터져 나올 것 같던 그녀의 난파선 같은 얼교를 보며 허리를 꾸부렸다.
En: Jihye, did you know that was kimchi you were eating? Minseo casually said, looking at her confident yet about-to-burst-into-laughter expression, and chuckled.

Ko: 선도부 회장인 승우가 입관양식으로 앉은 채, 잔뼈에 비친 달빛과 같은 미소를 지었고, 노랑 노랑 나뭇잎 속 햇살처럼 그녀에게 미소를 지어주었다. 여기 물! 그는 빠르게 물병을 가져와서 지혜 앞에 두었다.
