Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd awyrgylch arbennig yn Marchnad Caerdydd y diwrnod hwnnw.
En: There was a special atmosphere at the Marchnad Caerdydd that day.

Cy: Roedd yr aer yn oer a ffres, a phriau lliwgar yr hydref yn dawnsio yn y gwynt wrth i bobl rhuthro heibio i wneud paratoadau ar gyfer Calan Gaeaf.
En: The air was cold and fresh, and the colorful autumn leaves danced in the wind as people rushed by to make preparations for Calan Gaeaf.

Cy: Roedd cerddoriaeth a chwerthin yn gymysgu gyda'r sain o siarad a galw'r gwerthwyr yn y farchnad brysur.
En: Music and laughter mixed with the sounds of conversation and the calls of the vendors in the busy market.

Cy: Gwenyth oedd y gyntaf i gyrraedd y farchnad, a'i llygaid yn pefrio wrth weld y fath ddigonedd o gynhwysion ffres.
En: Gwenyth was the first to arrive at the market, her eyes sparkling at the abundance of fresh ingredients.

Cy: Roedd hi'n benderfynol o baratoi pryd perffaith, gan ddefnyddio cynhwysion traddodiadol Cymreig i greu argraff ar ei theulu.
En: She was determined to prepare the perfect meal, using traditional Welsh ingredients to impress her family.

Cy: Ond roedd un broblem fach - roedd y farchnad yn llawn dop o bobl, pob un yn chwilio am yr un pethau.
En: But there was one small problem - the market was packed with people, all looking for the same items.

Cy: "Llewellyn, bron yn siŵr roeddwn i'n dweud, rydym angen bara lawr a tatws Jelly," meddai Gwenyth yn bendant, wrth wylio Llewellyn yn cymryd amser i edrych ar stondinau sêl a phwrs.
En: "Llewellyn, I'm quite sure I said we need bara lawr and tatws Jelly," said Gwenyth firmly, watching Llewellyn take his time browsing the sales stalls and purses.

Cy: "Ie, wrth gwrs," atebodd Llewellyn, ei feddwl yn amlwg mewn lle arall.
En: "Yes, of course," replied Llewellyn, his mind clearly elsewhere.

Cy: Bronwyn, oedd yn chwilio am gwisg Calan Gaeaf ar unwaith, yn cael ei hudo gan bethau eraill y farchnad.
En: Bronwyn, who was searching for a Calan Gaeaf costume, got distracted by other things in the market.

Cy: "Nid yw hynny'n edrych fel tatws Jelly!
En: "That doesn’t look like tatws Jelly!"

Cy: " fe wnaeth Gwenyth wfftio, gan adael Llewellyn i ddilyn ei chants cael y pwrs arbennig.
En: scoffed Gwenyth, leaving Llewellyn to follow his quest for the special purse.

Cy: Wrth iddynt symud ymlaen yn araf trwy'r torfeydd, sylweddolodd Gwenyth fod rhai cynhwysion yn mynd yn brin.
En: As they slowly moved through the crowds, Gwenyth realized some ingredients were becoming scarce.

Cy: Roedd amser yn mynd yn brin tra roedd ei hamynedd yn pwyso'n drwm.
En: Time was running out while her patience was wearing thin.

Cy: Pan ddaeth hi o hyd i stondin oedd yn gwerthu'r llysiau alarchgell olaf, cafodd hi ei hun yn gwrth-ddadlau gydag brynwr arall.
En: When she found a stall selling the last alarchgell vegetables, she found herself in a dispute with another buyer.

Cy: "Oni allet ti symud i rywbeth arall?
En: "Couldn't you move onto something else?"

Cy: " gofynnodd Gwenyth gyda balchder, gan wybod pa mor bwysig oedd yr alarchgell i'w rysáit.
En: asked Gwenyth with pride, knowing how important the alarchgell was to her recipe.

Cy: "Rwy'n siŵr fy mod i angen hwn i syrpreis fy ngwyl fawr Calan Gaeaf," atebodd y brynwr arall, yr un mor benderfynol.
En: "I'm sure I need this to surprise my big Calan Gaeaf gathering," replied the other buyer, just as determined.

Cy: Yna dyma droi'r clyfardeb wrth i Gwenyth gynnig masnach - pot Wein Cmyrag addasu a chaws genffaen perlysiau arbennig o stôl arall.
En: Then a clever agreement was made as Gwenyth offered a trade - a modified Wein Cmyrag pot and special herb genffaen cheese from another stall.

Cy: Roedd yn fasnach roedd y ddau yn hapus â hi, a Gwenyth yn ennill yr alarchgell.
En: It was a trade that pleased both, and Gwenyth secured the alarchgell.

Cy: Gyda'r alarchgell mewn llaw, daeth Gwenyth â syniad newydd wrth iddo weld addurniadau bywiog Calan Gaeaf ac arogldarth y torthau siwgwr.
En: With the alarchgell in hand, Gwenyth got a new idea as she saw the vibrant Calan Gaeaf decorations and smelled the aroma of sugar loaves.

Cy: Gyda hyn, penderfynodd ychwanegu dysgl newydd i fwydlen ei chyfarfod teuluol i ddathlu’r tymor.
En: With this, she decided to add a new dish to her family gathering menu to celebrate the season.

Cy: Pan wnaethant adael Marchnad Caerdydd wedi diwrnod hir, roedd Gwenyth gyda bach o ysbrydoliaeth newydd a mwy o hyblygrwydd yn ei chalon.
En: When they left Marchnad Caerdydd after a long day, Gwenyth carried a bit of new inspiration and more flexibility in her heart.

Cy: Roedd Llewellyn hefyd wedi dysgu gwerthfawrogi ei hymdrechion trefnu manwl.
En: Llewellyn also learned to appreciate her meticulous organizing efforts.

Cy: Yn raddol, cerddasant adref, law yn llaw, yn llawn o'rsbryd Calan Gaeaf a phryd newydd a oedd yn addo bod suite i bawb.
En: Gradually, they walked home, hand in hand, full of the Calan Gaeaf spirit and a new dish that promised to delight everyone.
