Pastoring shouldn't be a career choice especially if you are accustomed to living a certain lifestyle.
Too many times the fantasy of full time ministry clashes with real time bills and family obligations.
We put too many unrealistic expectations on people, when God should be our source.
We put too many demands on people to honor ministers when some ministers live dishonest and dishonorable lives publicly and privately.
Pastoring should never be a career choice because you may be sorely disappointed with the people. You have to live better than you preach and pastor. Don't abuse God's bride.
