KJ and Meredith are going it alone this week as Sam and Dean brave a haunted asylum. They petition for Katherine to dump her boyfriend Gavin for bringing her on a date to an abandoned building, try to see the Winchester brothers through their numerous fights this episode, and Meredith reenacts a scene KJ felt was missing where John Winchester is unable to operate a toaster.
CW Episode description: Sam and Dean investigate an abandoned sanitarium and discover that when the hospital was open, the patients held a revolt against the cruel and unusual punishments inflicted by the head doctor. While the brothers search the premises for four lost college students, the tortured spirits cause them to go insane, turning Dean against Sam.
