Et: Eesti Rahva Muuseum säras suvepäikese käes.
En: The Estonian National Museum glimmered under the summer sun.

Et: Kooliekskursioon oli just alanud.
En: The school excursion had just begun.

Et: Mart ja Kaja imetlesid suuri klaasaknaid ja kauneid väljapanekuid.
En: Mart and Kaja admired the large glass windows and beautiful exhibits.

Et: Mart seisis suurte punaste saapade juures, mis kuulusid kunagisele Eesti kangelasele.
En: Mart stood by the large red boots that once belonged to an Estonian hero.

Et: "Kaja, kas sa tead, et siin on salajane osa?"
En: "Kaja, do you know there's a secret part here?"

Et: küsis Mart põnevil silmadega.
En: Mart asked, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

Et: Kaja tõstis kulmu.
En: Kaja raised an eyebrow.

Et: "Salajane osa?
En: "A secret part?

Et: Ma arvan, et me peaksime hoidma grupi lähedale," ütles ta ettevaatlikult.
En: I think we should stay close to the group," she said cautiously.

Et: "Õpetajad on väga ranget vahti."
En: "The teachers are keeping a very strict watch."

Et: Mart ei lasknud end heidutada.
En: Mart was not discouraged.

Et: "Ma pean seda nägema.
En: "I need to see it.

Et: Seal on haruldasi esemeid.
En: There are rare artifacts there.

Et: Tule, lähme lõunapausi ajal," ütles ta entusiastlikult.
En: Come, let's go during the lunch break," he said enthusiastically.

Et: Lõunapausini oli veel aega, kuid Mart ja Kaja ei suutnud mõtteid kõrvale jätta.
En: There was still time until lunch, but Mart and Kaja couldn't shake the thought from their minds.

Et: Kui viimaks kõlas kell ja lapsed kogunesid sööma, tõmbas Mart Kaja kõrvale.
En: When the bell finally rang and the children gathered to eat, Mart pulled Kaja aside.

Et: "Lähme nüüd!"
En: "Let's go now!"

Et: ütles ta.
En: he said.

Et: Kaja ohkas, aga järgnes Martile.
En: Kaja sighed but followed Mart.

Et: Nad hiilisid mööda koridoridest ja vältisid kohtumist valvuritega.
En: They sneaked through the corridors, avoiding encounters with the guards.

Et: Varsti nad leidsid väikese ukse, mida keegi ei märganud.
En: Soon they found a small door that no one seemed to notice.

Et: Mart avas selle vaikselt, ja nad libisesid sisse.
En: Mart quietly opened it, and they slipped inside.

Et: Ruum oli vana ja tolmune.
En: The room was old and dusty.

Et: Seinale oli riputatud vanu kaarte ja riiulitel olid erinevad esemed.
En: Old maps hung on the walls, and various artifacts were on the shelves.

Et: Mart ja Kaja vaatasid kõike imetlusega.
En: Mart and Kaja looked around in awe.

Et: "See on hämmastav," sosistas Kaja.
En: "This is amazing," Kaja whispered.

Et: Hetk hiljem kuulsid nad valju heli – alarm hakkas piiksuma.
En: Moments later, they heard a loud sound – an alarm started beeping.

Et: "Oi ei!"
En: "Oh no!"

Et: hüüdis Kaja.
En: Kaja exclaimed.

Et: "Me peame lahkuma."
En: "We need to leave."

Et: Mart ja Kaja jooksid ukse suunas, kuid peagi ilmusid nende ette muuseumi töötajad ja õpetajad.
En: Mart and Kaja ran towards the door, but soon museum staff and teachers appeared in front of them.

Et: "Miks te siin olete?"
En: "Why are you here?"

Et: küsis üks neist rangelt.
En: one of them asked sternly.

Et: Mart ja Kaja vahetasid murelike pilke.
En: Mart and Kaja exchanged worried looks.

Et: Mart astus ette.
En: Mart stepped forward.

Et: "Palun, ärge karistage meid.
En: "Please, don't punish us.

Et: Me tahtsime lihtsalt näha neid haruldasi esemeid.
En: We just wanted to see those rare artifacts.

Et: Me armastame ajalugu ja kõik need asjad tähendavad meile palju."
En: We love history and all these things mean a lot to us."

Et: Õpetajad ja muuseumi töötajad vaatasid teineteisele otsa.
En: The teachers and museum staff looked at each other.

Et: "Te rikkusite reegleid," ütles üks valvuritest.
En: "You broke the rules," one of the guards said.

Et: "Aga te näitasite üles suurt huvi.
En: "But you showed great interest.

Et: Meie muuseum on uhke, et suudame noori ajaloost inspireerida."
En: Our museum is proud to inspire young people about history."

Et: "Me õpime sellest," ütles Kaja, astudes ette.
En: "We will learn from this," Kaja said, stepping forward.

Et: "Mart ei ole enamasti nii hoolimatu, aga ta tõesti armastab ajalugu."
En: "Mart isn't usually so reckless, but he really loves history."

Et: Pärast lühikest vestlust otsustasid õpetajad ja muuseumi töötajad, et Mart ja Kaja ei saa ränka karistust.
En: After a short discussion, the teachers and museum staff decided not to give Mart and Kaja a harsh punishment.

Et: Selle asemel viisid nad nad tagasi gruppi ja selgitasid reegleid veel kord.
En: Instead, they took them back to the group and explained the rules once more.

Et: Tagasiteel ütles Mart: "Vabandust, Kaja.
En: On the way back, Mart said, "Sorry, Kaja.

Et: Ma ei pidanudki mõtlema, et me võiksime hätta jääda."
En: I didn't think we might get into trouble."

Et: Kaja naeratas.
En: Kaja smiled.

Et: "See oli siiski seiklus.
En: "It was still an adventure.

Et: Ma arvan, et mõnikord on hea riskida, kui see on väärtuslik."
En: I think sometimes it’s worth taking a risk if it's valuable."

Et: Mart noogutas.
En: Mart nodded.

Et: "Jah, aga me peame vastutama.
En: "Yes, but we have to be responsible.

Et: Ajalugu on tähtis, aga reeglid on samuti."
En: History is important, but so are the rules."

Et: See päev jääb alati Martile ja Kajale meelde.
En: That day would always be remembered by Mart and Kaja.

Et: Nad õppisid olulisi õppetunde – Mart vastutuse ja piiride austamise tähtsust, Kaja riskeerimise ja seikluste võlu.
En: They learned important lessons – Mart about the importance of responsibility and respecting boundaries, and Kaja about the charm of risking and adventures.
