As the Senior Director of Emergency Management at ASU, Denise Whisman works hard to live by this mantra daily. In her EM role on campus, Denise is responsible for establishing a consistent standard for planning, exercise, and response not just on the main campus in Tempe, but across the university's global footprint. Denise brings a wide array of Emergency Management experience to the table.

Before ASU, she worked in private healthcare, emergency medical response, non-profit emergency response, county government, and the US Navy.
