Lt: Prasidėjo saulėta popietė, kai Audrius ėjo per Vilniaus Senamiestį.
En: On a sunny afternoon, Audrius strolled through the Old Town of Vilnius.

Lt: Jis mėgo senųjų namų fasadus, siauras gatveles ir akmenukas grindinio takuose, bet šiandien jam teko netikėta staigmena.
En: He enjoyed the facades of the old buildings, the narrow streets, and the cobblestone pathways, but today he encountered an unexpected surprise.

Lt: Neretai matomas vaizdas mieste, tačiau ne kiekvienam jis atneša šypseną – bananų žievė guli ant kelio.
En: The sight was not uncommon in the city, but it didn't bring a smile to everyone's face - a banana peel lay on the road.

Lt: Audrius, visiškai susitelkęs į aplinkos grožį ir mąstydamas apie artėjantį susitikimą su Egle ir Rūta, nepastebėjo žievės.
En: Completely absorbed in the beauty of his surroundings and thinking about his upcoming meeting with Eglė and Rūta, Audrius didn't notice the peel.

Lt: Staiga – šliuuuk!
En: Suddenly - whoosh!

Lt: – kojos išslydo ir Audrius nukrito ant šaligatvio.

Lt: Jo kuprinė, knygos ir telefonas išsipylė šurmulių pilnoje gatvėje.
En: His backpack, books, and phone spilled out into the bustling street.

Lt: Aikčiojimai ir kvatojimas iškart užplūdo Senamiesčio erdvę.
En: Murmurs and laughter immediately filled the space of the Old Town.

Lt: Žmonės sustojo, žiūrėjo ir juokėsi, tačiau tarp minios buvo ir Eglė su Rūta.
En: People stopped, looked, and laughed, but among the crowd were Eglė and Rūta.

Lt: Matydamos, kaip jų draugas gulėjo tarp daiktų, neskubėjo dalintis aplinkinių linksmybėmis.

En: Eglė asked with concern.

Lt: Audrius pažvelgė į drauges ir, nors jam buvo šiek tiek gėda, negalėjo nesijuokti kartu su kitais.
En: Audrius looked at his friends and, though he felt a little embarrassed, couldn't help but laugh along with the others.

Lt: Jis patikrino kelius – nieko rimto, tik nedidelis nubrozdinimas.
En: He checked himself - nothing serious, just a small bruise.

Lt: Pamačiusi Audriaus šypseną, Rūta taip pat pradėjo juoktis ir padėjo surinkti iškritusius daiktus.
En: Seeing Audrius smile, Rūta also started laughing and helped him gather his fallen items.

Lt: „Tai pamoka, kad reikia žiūrėti, kur eini,“ – su šypsena tarė Rūta.
En: "That's a lesson to watch where you're going," Rūta said with a smile.

Lt: Audrius susigrąžino savo daiktus, nuvalė drabužius ir kartu su Egle bei Rūta toliau keliavo pro garsiąją Katedrą, kur jiems turėjo prasidėti nuotykiai.
En: Audrius retrieved his belongings, dusted off his clothes, and continued on with Eglė and Rūta toward the famous Cathedral, where their adventures were about to begin.

Lt: Gatvėse vis dar girdėjosi prislopintas juokas, bet tai jau nebesvarbu.
En: The muffled laughter still echoed in the streets, but it no longer mattered.

Lt: Audrius suprato, kad net mažiausia nesėkmė gali tapti dienos juoko ir draugystės momentu.

Lt: Užuot liūdėjęs dėl suklupimo, jis džiaugėsi, kad turi šalia tokias nuostabias drauges, kurios padeda atsistoti ant kojų net pačioje nejaukiausioje situacijoje.
