Story Transcript:

Th: วันหนึ่งที่ตลาดจตุจักรที่มีคนพลุกพล่านด้วยนักท่องเที่ยว มีชายคนหนึ่งชื่อสมศักดิ์ที่มาที่ตลาดเพื่อหาอะไรกินตามปกติ
En: One day at the bustling Chatuchak Market filled with tourists, there was a man named Somsak who came to the market to find something to eat as usual.

En: Somsak was someone who enjoyed trying new foods without thinking much.

En: Somsak passed by a noodle shop, a fruit stand, and various dessert shops until he saw a bowl of what he thought was a dark brown sweet dessert.

Th: “นี่ต้องอร่อยแน่ๆ” สมศักดิ์คิดในใจ และหยิบถ้วยนั้นขึ้นมาชิมทันที
En: "This must be delicious for sure," thought Somsak, and he immediately picked up the bowl to taste.

Th: ไม่ทันขบเคี้ยวสักสองสามครั้ง เขาก็รู้สึกเผ็ดร้อนจนต้องขยี้ตา
En: Before he could even chew a few times, he felt the intense heat, making him tear up.

Th: ขณะที่สมศักดิ์ยืนน้ำตาคลอเบ้า สิริพรรษาเดินผ่านมาพอดี
En: While Somsak stood there with teary eyes, Siriporn happened to walk by.

Th: เธอเห็นแล้วก็หัวเราะไม่หยุด เพราะเธอรู้ดีว่าสมศักดิ์ไม่ได้กินขนมหวาน แต่เขากลับกินน้ำพริกกุ้งเผาเขาวงกตที่เผ็ดร้อนจนลืมหายใจไปเลย
En: She couldn't stop laughing when she saw him because she knew well that Somsak didn't eat desserts, but he ended up eating the extremely spicy shrimp paste that made him forget to breathe.

Th: “เอ๊ะ! นี่ไม่ใช่ขนมหวานเหรอ?” สมศักดิ์ถามด้วยความสงสัยขณะที่เขาพยายามหายใจ
En: "Hey! This isn't a dessert, is it?" Somsak asked with suspicion as he struggled to breathe.

Th: สิริพรรษายิ้มให้เขาและอธิบาย “นั่นคือน้ำพริกกุ้งเผา คนไทยเรากินกับผักสดหรือข้าวเหนียว”
En: Siriporn smiled at him and explained, "That's spicy shrimp paste. Thais eat it with fresh vegetables or sticky rice."

Th: เธอหัวเราะและพูดต่อ “แต่ไม่เป็นไรนะ ที่จริงมีขนมหวานอร่อยๆ อยู่ตรงนั้น ฉันจะพาไปชิม”
