What is God's purpose for creating and saving human beings? Titus 2 says that it is "to purify for himself a people for his own possession." God’s plan is to have a people who walk with Him. To accomplish that goal, God makes a covenant with Abraham. God makes an oath that He will bless Abraham and through him bless the nations. Jesus is the fulfillment of that covenant.
