Lt: Vasara Lietuvoje buvo graži, o Ignas, Miglė ir Rūta ruošėsi kelionei į Lietuviškąjį Atogrąžų Nacionalinį Parką.
En: The summer in Lithuania was beautiful, and Ignas, Miglė, and Rūta were preparing for a trip to the Lithuanian Tropical National Park.

Lt: Parkas buvo žinomas dėl savo tankių miškų ir gražių upių.
En: The park was known for its dense forests and beautiful rivers.

Lt: Moksleivių grupė iš vidurinės mokyklos rengė mokomąją kelionę, kad pažintų gamtą.
En: A group of students from the middle school was organizing an educational trip to explore nature.

Lt: Ignas stovėjo sužavėtas prie įėjimo į parką.
En: Ignas stood in awe at the park's entrance.

En: “Ignas, we have to stick to the plan,” Miglė replied.

Lt: „Kelias yra ištyrinėtas ir saugus.“
En: “The path is explored and safe.”

Lt: „Bet galime pabandyti nueiti šiek tiek šonan“, pasiūlė Ignas.
En: “But we could try going a little off the trail,” Ignas suggested.

Lt: „Manau, žinau, kur reikėtų eiti.“
En: “I think I know where we need to go.”

Lt: Rūta tyliai stovėjo šalia.
En: Rūta stood quietly nearby.

Lt: Ji bijojo pasiklysti, bet norėjo prisijungti ir neatrodyti baili.
En: She was afraid of getting lost but wanted to join in and not seem cowardly.

Lt: Ignas pagaliau nusprendė: „Einame čia!
En: Ignas finally decided, “Let’s go this way!

Lt: Trumpam nukrypsime nuo kelio.
En: We’ll step off the trail for a bit.

Lt: Viskas bus gerai.“
En: Everything will be fine.”

Lt: Miglei teko pasirinkti – ar sekti Ignas, ar viską pranešti mokytojams.
En: Miglė had to choose—whether to follow Ignas or report everything to the teachers.

Lt: Ji pasirinko pasitikėti Ignu, nors jos širdis plakė greitai.
En: She chose to trust Ignas, even though her heart was pounding.

Lt: Trijulė pradėjo eiti per tankų mišką.
En: The trio began to walk through the dense forest.

Lt: Lapai šnarėjo po kojų ir saulės spinduliai vos prasiskverbė pro žalias šakas.
En: Leaves rustled underfoot, and sunlight barely penetrated through the green branches.

Lt: Po kurio laiko jie pradėjo jausti, kad eina tolyn nuo pažymėto kelio.
En: After a while, they started to feel they were straying farther from the marked path.

Lt: Diena ėjo į pabaigą.
En: The day was drawing to a close.

Lt: Šešėliai tapo ilgesni, o miškas vis tamsėjo.
En: Shadows grew longer, and the forest became darker.

Lt: Miglė pradėjo nerimauti: „Ignai, turime grįžti, pradeda temti.“
En: Miglė began to worry, “Ignas, we need to go back; it’s starting to get dark.”

Lt: Rūta taškėsi šlapioje žemėje, bandydama nenukristi.
En: Rūta splashed through the wet ground, trying not to fall.

Lt: Jos baimės pradėjo apleisti mintis.
En: Her fears began to cloud her thoughts.

Lt: Kai Ignas pagaliau sustojo, jis suprato, kad nežino kelio atgal.
En: When Ignas finally stopped, he realized he didn’t know the way back.
