Understanding how thoughts/labels and self-narrative are formed in the context of psychology, neurosciences, and faith-based knowledge.
Dr Lies explains that labels are the lens through which we create, interpret, and interact with reality, which then produce self-narrative. Self-narrative fosters the interaction of cause-and-effect / effect-and-cause relationship between self and the reality (e.g., because I believe….; I believe because….).
Understanding how our mind works and evaluating our thoughts/labels can shift our self-narrative. We all have the power to create our realities and live our life to the fullest when we lean toward what God says about us, and not based on what other people say about us.
