After weeks of bargaining, UC Berkeley and UAW 2865 remain split on wages, fee remission and hiring levels for EECS and data science course staff. Why are negotiations stuck, what impact has this had on students and what is ultimately at stake? On March 18, the Indian Students Association, or ISA, held its annual celebration of Holi, a popular spring festival celebrated by South Asians around the world. How was the event for its attendees, and what were the complaints about its ticketing system? Lastly, there’s talk that Cal 1 Cards could be digitized soon, with testing to begin this semester on a mobile app, but there’s also drama regarding who came up with the idea.
