Your mind keeps circling back to the same what-if — a pending test result, a tight budget, a hard conversation you haven't had yet — and twenty minutes later nothing about the situation has actually changed, except how you feel.

This episode looks at why that loop happens and what it's actually doing for you. Worry isn't preparing you for anything. It's a stand-in for action that shows up exactly when there's nothing yet to do, and running the same scenario fifteen times doesn't prepare you for the sixteenth any better than the first one did.

Once you see worry that way, stopping doesn't feel irresponsible anymore — it just feels like what it is. We'll also look at why telling yourself to stop worrying rarely works, and set up the one habit that gives these thoughts somewhere real to go instead of running your day.
