Lv: Bija zelta rudens diena, un saules stari caur meža koku lapotnēm krāsoja zeltainas ēnas uz zemes.
En: It was a golden autumn day, and the sun's rays, filtering through the forest canopy, cast golden shadows on the ground.

Lv: Jānis, Līga un Mārtiņš devās uz Gaujas Nacionālo parku.
En: Jānis, Līga, and Mārtiņš headed to the Gauja National Park.

Lv: Viņi bija sapulcējušies uz tematisko pikniku, un tēma bija "meža dzīvnieki".
En: They had gathered for a themed picnic, and the theme was "forest animals."

Lv: Jānim bija ezis, Līgai – zaķis, un Mārtiņš ietērpies kā lācis.

Lv: “Aaa! Līga! Palīgā!” kliedza Jānis, bēgdams pa mežu.

Lv: Kad viņš nonāca līdz draugiem, Līga ātri pievienojās viņiem, un visi trīs bēga tālāk mežā.
