Specifically developed for the Johns Hopkins University Muslim Association (JHUMA) and our entire Hopkins student community.

Artists on the panel to speak on the power of art as a medium for activism and social change. Khalid Sabree will be sharing some of his artistic pieces that address race, systemic injustice, and triumph while grounded in Al-Islam. Anika Sabree will be sharing her renowned "Got Justice" piece that became a Black Lives Matter meme in 2016. Native Baltimore filmmaker Ayanna Sharif will be joining us to discuss the power of art in film. Imam Dawud Walid will be sharing insights from his book "Towards Sacred Activism."
